If you were to bump into a long lost friend from 10 years ago would they see you as an older version of the old you or a completely reinvented, virtually unrecognizable person. Of course it’s the latter because you have changed – not make that transformed - so significantly. The ways you look, sound, relate, how you spend your time and most important of all – your aspirations have all been transformed. All November you will be meeting new people and catching up with old friends and expanding your social horizons and it will be an interesting exercise to see how your oldest associates view the new (and definitely improved) you. You’re a class act but your drive for self-improvement and the “remaking” that you’ve been engaged in hasn’t allowed your inner emotional drive to catch up. The Ego if you like is on overdrive but what about the Super Ego and the Id? What are about the aspects of the “real” you that need work? Your finances or career – which is essentially your second driving force (how others see you and your place in society being no.1) - has been all over the place. Jobs disappeared, cancelled contracts, and a variety of complications that have thwarted your finances. Funnily enough, your social contacts this month will enhance the unstable financial situation – key people will help you in this regard. In addition Venus retrograding in your 10th will boomerang lost opportunities back in your lap again.

The month won’t be without an irritation. Most likely around the full moon 21st there will be exacerbated issues with your family or extended family. Watch what you say during this difficult time as you could compound an already awkward situation.

Over the past 15 years (no matter how old you are) you’ve been learning how to climb the latter of life and success. You’ve learnt the tools of how to network, promote yourself in the best possible light and ultimately how to play this game called LIFE and win.

Sometimes, as you are now, you have to grit your teeth and bare it, but you more than any other sign can do this, and do it believably because once you have reconciled your emotional needs with your drive to succeed, NOTHING on Earth can stop you.

In 2010 you’ve really changed your view of yourself, what you are capable of and what you can really do, to not only survive but flourish. October is a significant month where there is more change indicated. Something that happened recently in an unspoken way has elevated your status in the eyes of others, and those within your immediate “group” will be gathering to share in your aura.

There will also be a tangible affirmation that you well and truly belong, are valued and admired.

Some of you are on the brink of starting new partnerships or are soon to do so. Betrayals and tests are possible for some of you also, particularly when it comes to career and partnership matters but this is for a very few and if it is to be will become apparent from the third week of September.

If you signed any contracts or paperwork especially during Mercury retrograde I hope you read the fine print and have a complete understanding of the structure as there is the potential for rescinding or changes.

You certainly have more power and more of a say in your career and a whole new vista is opening up before you and you have a much stronger focus on professional goals as you have them now clearly in your sight. You have really come into your own but that said you are working fiendishly and are running low on batteries so try to give yourself a break whenever you can. There will some issues of control, who has it and how it is dealt with. If you encounter megalomaniacs….well you’ve been there before quite a few times and know how to handle it.

The major aspect of the next decade concerns building your reputation and in some cases “brand” and if you are looking for recognition on a national scale then this will be an essential element for many years to come. This cycle represents a profound passage in your life when you finally establish that foundation which you have been slavishly building in your professional and public life and your standing in society.

Let me start by saying that Capricorns are the least likely sign to get divorced. Now matter what drama or stresses are thrown at you, even situations that would be untenable to others, you deal with them and move on, together. You have a wonderful ability to detach and throw yourself into other areas of your life, work is usually the area that is your main source of reward, and you find your validation and support there.

August has a special tone to it and is highly likely to be a month where a substantial number of Cappy’s not only find their feet but really see the fruits of all their previous efforts. A small number will decide that the direction that has been chosen is ultimately a dead end one and will unhesitatingly put an end to it once and for all this month.

What every Capricorn focuses on (almost since birth but few really understand this until much, much later) is your ultimate place in the world. You are far and away the most ambitious sign in the zodiac and you want your status, repute and reputation right up there on top of the heap. This month really galvanizes those long range plans and you begin the long climb upward. Think of it (goat like) like climbing a big mountain, you’re at the foot of it and it’s seems really very high but if you keep on going you will eventually reach the top. That said it is hardly a smooth and easy ride to reach the top but you have enough steely resolve, confidence in yourself and ambition to get you there.

It’s a funny thing about life but people who strive for their dreams usually end up successful and you are indeed a climber (just like the goat!) and have always strived to better yourself, gain recognition in society and win over the respect and accolades of your peers.

Towards the end of this month D Day looms and a final decision has to be made – no more procrastination – more for your sake than for the consideration of others. You have reached the Final Episode in a Lost-type story – and certainly the astrological timing is advantageous and for a new beginning.

Your domestic sphere will be undergoing a lot of changes – shocking would be an apt word to describe at least one “adjustment”.

It will not be an easy passage to get through, and there will be tension and controversy and some changes you won’t have full mastery over. All I can say again is that this moment in time is the most auspicious for these kinds of decisions.

Oh dear. I’ve been warning you in my weekly horoscopes for the past three weeks to watch out for unwanted attention with sexual undertones.

You need to scrutinize how you relate to certain individuals and only you can determine whether that connection is appropriate or not, whether it is simply in your body language or the content of your speech.

You are a born achiever and this flippant behaviour could be a side affect of feeling weighed down with dreary responsibilities and needing to get your groove back. It appears that you are almost desperate to be noticed and heard, and depending on your situation you have to start being very careful about how far you take this need.

Don’t close of one door before you are really sure you want to walk through another or you could find yourself lost in the corridor (if you get my drift).

All your close relationships are under the spotlight and if you’re single you may be taking the next step but if you are in a relationship and have felt unfulfilled or your partner is remote in any way, you may very well feel moved to change the status quo.

All in all a contemplative month when you begin to appreciate and understand what you really, really want and need. A past love could appear and complicate things or you may well be laying low and just taking stock. Capricorns are usually so steadfast but you are realizing that this is not exactly reflective of your mood right now. Use your Capricorn smarts and at the very least ensure that your financial future is shored up whilst you risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss.

As you will be first sign to feel the power of Pluto you’d better start gearing up to take over the leadership role that is your destiny. Keep reinventing yourself and remain focused and know that you won’t look, sound or even feel like the same person at the end of this 16 year transit. Pluto will have a profound affect on how you see yourself and your role in the world and how others see you. The urge to transform not only your appearance but how you present yourself in the world will be powerful and the control and influence you will gain over others will soar in quantum leaps and there will be little holding you back.

Unfortunately you may have to clear the decks first to allow your destiny to unfold and that will include leaving behind people, jobs or structures that you feel are inhibiting your rise to power and stunting your personal growth.

Alternatively the Universe may conspire to rid you of these blocks on your behalf. If they do, this may feel like a catastrophe at the time, but is all for your long term good.
